I am Frances Tupy -            your voice for Midland.

With a deep commitment to our community, I aim to bring fresh perspectives and dedicated service to our local government. Together, we can build a stronger, more vibrant Midland for everyone.

Why Am I Running for Midland Councillor?

As a Personal Support Worker (PSW), a homeowner, and a mother with my sons and my own mother, my commitment to Midland is deeply personal. Our town isn’t just where I live—it is where my family has deep historical roots. I chose to lay down new roots here in 2022 because I believe in this community, its people, and the incredible potential of our parks, trails, and neighbourhoods.

Through my work and my daily life, I have developed a strong desire to serve. While I love our community, I know we can do more. I realized I could no longer sit on the sidelines and hope someone else would make the decisions our community needs. I want to be that voice for you.

Municipal government is where we can make the most immediate, tangible difference in our daily quality of life. I am ready to bring our shared issues to the council table. I bring a proven ability to research complex topics, see the big picture, and collaborate effectively within a team to find real solutions.

I am running to follow in the footsteps of those who came before me, ensuring Midland remains a vibrant, caring, and wonderful place to live for generations to come.
